Use the pm_ptr() macro to handle the .suspend/.resume callbacks. This macro allows the suspend and resume functions to be automatically dropped by the compiler when CONFIG_SUSPEND is disabled, without having to use #ifdef guards. Not using #ifdef guards means that the code is always compiled independently of any Kconfig option, and thanks to that bugs and regressions are easier to catch. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
